I returned from Howrah to CBE (via Katpadi) by this train on 5th May. Booked ticket as soon as it opened 15 days before departure & got 3A ticket for just below 3000 rupees.
Very cool & comfortable. Food, snacks, tea continuosly served. Clean coaches & beddings.
More than half of the seats in my coach was reserved for boarding from BBS. So we all slept wherever we wanted.

late by 2:15 hours at Vijayawada. Picked up, went non-stop and reached Katpadi correct time.
I was sorry to see co-passenger who booked at more than double my ticket amount.
Surprised to see RAC tickets allowed. Some side lower berths had 2 passengers. Great inconvenience for them as well as for the side upper berth passenger after paying high price.
