Grievance Description : Dear sir, We people of Visakhapatnam facing so many problems with railways. The ECoR zone said many times that they will use DUVVADA (DVD) station as bypass station for visakhapatnam. But it literally failed in many time in this issues, providing better connections by running local trains from VSKP station to dvd not done. SER doing doing it at KGP-HIJILI route. Now ECoR diverting some more trains via Duvvada running without touching visakhapatnam and not given stop at Duvvada. If this is the case how Duvvada act as alternate station for VSKP ?? There are 3 trains ( One yet to be started) bypassing visakhapatnam station and also not stopping at Duvvada. If train bypassing is unavoidable then its not a problem but it should stop some where near Visakhapatnam dist on bypass station for people of A1 station like VSKP. Why the 12552/Kamakhya - Yesvantpur SF Weekly AC Express is not stopping at Duvvada also ?? The same train stopping at Hijili, why this discrimination against Visakhapatnam only ?? The GM of ECoR not agreed for re-routing 12552/Kamakhya - Yesvantpur SF Weekly AC Express via Visakhapatnam saying its following hwh-ypr duranto slot. But why cannot railways provide a stop at Duvvada which is claimed as bypass station for VSKP ?? Please provide the stop at Duvvada for all non duranto trains which bypasses VSKP if not run them via VSKP. Visakhapatnam is biggest city between Howrah and chennai. Also 10 th biggest city based on GDP. On what reason railways not providing stop at its bypass station also ?? When ever we ask ECoR railways the reply says duvvada not having enough demand for that train ?? Then Hijili station is having enough demand ?? When it comes to bypass railways saying duvvada as bypass station for VSKP but when we ask for halt it says as a station duvvada has no demand. Please find ECoR GM minutes of meeting with Vizag MP on diverted trains.

Details : It is to inform you that the proposal for stoppage of train No. 12552/12551 Kamakshya-Yeshvantpur weekly AC Express with other Express trains at Visakhapatnam/Duvvada was sent to Railway Board. But re-routing with stoppage at Visakhapatnam of 4 pairs of Express has been sanctioned by Railway Board i.e. train No. 18047/18048, 12254/12253, 12867/12868 22855/22856.
