This train should leave Kolkata station latest by 7 PM so that many people can travel in this train. After 12341 Howrah Asansol Agniveena Express there is not a train to go to Asansol or Chittaranjan. What's the use of Leaving the Train at 11.25 PM where there is not enough passengers late in the night to travel in this route.Does the Railway Management want's to run this train at a loss or just to fulfill the commitment of the passengers of Chittaranjan, Rupnarayanpur and Salanpur who wanted a train to go to Kolkata and come back properly at correct time. Please Please change the timings of this train and let the people to come back properly in the correct time.
Your point is well taken and this train would be better off and more useful leaving Howrah around 7 pm even if that means reaching Chittaranjan at 12.30 am. The problem is the heavy traffic on the Howrah Asansol route after 5 pm with so many long distance superfast trains leaving Howrah/Sealdah around that time starting with the twin Rajdhani Express trains. Perhaps finding a suitable time slot for this train with the inevitable crossings is a tough ask. Similarly the return train should depart from Chittaranjan at 7 am instead of 8.30 am.
