rac is there in ac coaches also....
however i feel railways should scrap this concept of rac....either u give full berth to sleep or not......why should passengers pay full fare but share a seat with another passenger and stay awake without sleeping.I fone has to travel sitting then why not travel in general class by paying less

as a bloggr has pointed out he can travel in ord second class. Nobody compels anybody to buy RAC ticket. If somebody does not like RAC, he has an option not to take the ticket and go in ord class. it depends on the mindset of the person.

what i want to say is as a berth is designed to acomodate only one person, why are the railways trying to make more money by alloting two people to one berth and causing inconvenience to the passengers
