any new news of Pune-DD-MMR electrificn status and wen it will b commisioned to start operations of electric locos on this route
It will take a bit of time I guess. As far as I've noticed DD-MMR electrification has been done fully only PUNE-DD is left to be finished.
On entire Pune-Daund Route of 75 Kms, wiring work is almost complete for 70 Kms or so. Only wiring of 2-3 Kms near Pune (GIT End) and another 2-3 Kms enroute is yet to be done. DD-MMR Electrification Work is complete. Only Daund Station and Yard is yet to come under wires. Initially, the plan was to make AC Traction 'live' on Pune-DD-MMR Section by 02-Oct-2015! However, recently, with some problems as well as major problem of land acquisition for TSS, the project is getting delayed. Now, we can expect AC Traction to be live surely by 02-Oct-2016! Sad and Unfortunate, however, likely to be true!
unlike the other routes the electrifcn work on imp. route of MMR-DD-Pune is still not completed earlier Aug 2015 is given the date to start electric locos on this route but now it extended to oct 2015 and now i hope it will again extend to 2016 so sad to see the fate of such an imp. route and we have to wait till 2016 i hope to see PNBE-PUNE SF/Azadhind sf etc. run with waps/wags/wams :(((((((((
