****KONKAN DOUBLING****
Maharashtra Government has decided to undertake the part doubling work of track from ROHA to Sawantwadi Road. This was announced by the State Finance Minister Shri Sudhir Sachchidanand Mungantiwar after the cabinet meeting. As per the report majority of the funding will be by the state govt: and not solely depending on IR for the project, as IR is cash strapped.
