MDU is far better than all divisions bro. TPJ should improve KKDI and keep silambu PM at KKDI.
Madurai division operates 6 pairs of up and down daily passenger ( without sunday off in this section and no cancellation of day time passenger services for maintenance in Madurai division day trains cancellation ) in Kollam - Punalur section .This section was recently opened for the passenger traffic in the same Madurai division after the Manamadurai - Virudhunagar section.People in these area should be seriously struggled in Virudhunagar Jn and Manamadurai Jn for additional trains in Manamadurai-Virudhunagar section.

That's true! MDU division seriously ignores not only the MNM- VPT stretch, but also the whole stretch from TPJ- PDKT- KKDI- MNM- APK- VPT. It has not been used after gauge conversion. Not used means, not even to 5%. Only goods trains can be seen and that too very rarely. TPJ division operates that TPJ- KKDI DEMU to VPT on humanitarian basis. We need a day time passenger from TPJ to SCT via PDKT, KKDI, MNM, APK , VPT and SVSK for now which then can be extended to Nagore or Karaikkal or Velankanni.
