Actually, its tough to get 1 more ICE from VSKP - BZA at around 15 to 16. So, i just want to delay Ratna only a little bit so that it can reach RJY atleast by 17 hrs if it starts at 13:45 at VSKP. Generally, if you see Satavahana, we can go to Capital and have some work, return back at in the same ICE at 16:15. Something like that with Ratna for VSKP will be good. But, we can't delay much at VSKP. Atleast, we can complete some work at RJY/SLO and get back in the same ICE.
May be simhadri could be separated from RSA and run as Superfast ICE. Start at the same time as now from BZA at 9:00 am and reach VSKP by 15:45 and start back as VSKP at 16:15 and reach BZA by 22:00.
Simhadri can't complete the jrny in 5 hrs 45 mins with the stops it has. We can't reduce the stops as it is used for many intermediate pax and daily commuters.
ya that's true but as longs this 2 zones system is there this ICE will suffer.
That's why i am telling there is need of 2 SET of ICE both starts at 16:00 at VSKP and BZA like Ratna and JB.
With upcoming 3 rd line the capacity of this region will increase by 50%. If what ever AP govt says is correct then we also get a bypass for SLO-BZA. So we can run more trains in this route.
I always wanted to see a high speed train between BZA-VSKP. Today Coromandal exp did BZA to Ennore which is 414 km in just 5 hr 15...
