Grievance Description : To, Chairman Railway Board, New Delhi, CC: GM of ECR, NCR, WCR, CR, SER, SR and SWR Sub: Permanent late run of 12577/78 DB-MYS-DBG SF and change of Route/timing of both Sir, We are raising this issue for last many months but sadly speaking that non of any zone or even Railway board is accepting this as issue needs solution. The train was little better when was running as DBG-SBC-DBG but just to make 12295/96 daily and introducing 22351/52 Weekly this train was unnecessarily extended to MYS. And after extension 12578 never came SBC on time (records can be verified), There was no justification for extension as the new train

was more suitable to run as PPTA-MYS-PPTA or even 12295/96 was more suitable as it occupies SBC yard daily. Now even after extension 12577/78 runs worst than an ordinary train and often runs more than 4 hrs late. It is very sad that instead of making this hugely popular train Bi-weekly Railway Board extended to MYS without any demand and logic. It is really very disappointing that the grievances are always find trash bin at zonal and RB level without showing any genuine intention to address issue. The COM ECR reply was so disappointing when he rudely said that Path not available. It shows what kind of attitude this train is facing even at home zone. With this new grievance we again raising this issue and demand to either: *Change timing of 12577/78 so it arrives early at destinations, *Remove some stoppages as train runs jam packed from source and rarely any booking happens from MYA, KGI, AJJ, OGL, RDM, SGEM, GDYA, PPI, NU and COI. These stops are making train slow and giving no or negligible revenue. *Change via so train can run on shorter and les congested route Ie: BJU-ASN-KGP-BBS-VSKP-BZA or BJU-DHN-RNC-R-NGP-BZA. Needless to say that now ALD/JBP areas have more dedicated trains for Bangalore so this train can be diverted via shorter route to save time and money. We hope that something will be done in new TT so save Train and it's passengers from neglect and punishment. Thank you. attached: Current run status of 12577

Details : Indian Railways make all efforts to run trains on time. However, trains do run late sometimes due to various reasons like miscreant activities, alarm chain pulling, natural calamities such as cyclonic storms or damage to track due to breaches, law and order problems, bad weather, cattle run over and electricity grid failure, equipment failure etc.

I will say swr is one of the main culprit. I have travelled in this train numerous times between MYS-SBC, SWR unnecessarily makes this sf exp to wait at pandavapura for 20 minutes for a passenger to cross , the passenger can wait at yeliyur very well and allow this train . So it reaches SBC with a delay of 20 to 30 mins mostly . Next delay is at sbc , that's the place where u can find one of the slowest loco change. They take 20 mins for changing Shatabdi's loco then imagine other trains , I have seen loco change happening very quickly at ED, ET , RU , MAS , . Swr is worst in traffic management

don't really wanna have a debate (quarrel) as you just had :P, but do we really have 'good' connection with SBC. In the name of a daily all we have is Sanghamitra :/
Yea but I agree with you over the halt removal part as even after the slot change and departing an hour later this halts at all stations at which Sangha does too
