Grievance Description : May I know the exact time taken for maintenance of 12394 Sampoorna Kranti Express at New Delhi Station as the status in last few days has created doubts over the maintenance time of 12394 Sampoorna Kranti Express at New Delhi and has resulted in train getting delayed and will definately result in cancellation of the train on one day to regulate the delays which are going to be added. As we already know that the congestion in New Delhi - Patna route will never allow a train to recover even a 5 mins delay. on 3rd Jul 15, 12393 Sampoorna Kranti Express arrived New Delhi at 1423 h, and 12394 departed at 1815 h, total time taken for maintenance was 3 hour 52 minutes. on 4th Jul 15, 12393 Sampoorna Kranti Express arrived New Delhi at 1324 h, and 12394 departed on time, total time taken for maintenance was 4 h 1 mins. on 5th Jul 15, 12393 Sampoorna Kranti Express arrived New Delhi at 1805 h, and 12394 departed at 2025 hour, time taken for maintenance was 2 h 20 mins. on 6th Jul 15, 12393 arrived New Delhi at 1220 h and 12394 was again rescheduled to 1755 h, which was 30 mins late. My question is if the train can be departed in 2 h 20 mins, on a particular day then why not on other days, then the train will not get such delays which will make the railways cancel the train. I think there is need to look after and monitor such delays, which makes a train late and gets them cancelled. The schedule of 12394 Sampoorna Kranti is such that if it departs even 10 mins late it is bound to be delayed by 2 hrs at Aligarh itself as no EMUs are allowed to be overtaken, and if NR Delhi reschedules it then its their responsibility to let it overtake the EMUs before Gzb and continue its journey ahead.
