I believe that this train is far more practical & superior to Frontier Mail which runs via allahabad apart from the fact that the latter has a historical significance.
Thats (the one u are refering to) Kolkata mail aka Imperial mail n Frontier mail is diffrent train which was renamed as Golden temple mail which is vey important train of WR with awesome priority
This is the train that got me interested in train journeys... when I was barely three years old, back in the 1970s. Still my favorite even though I have not traveled in it, in years.
