Unfortunately No Progress At All! And the reason is simple: If we see Pink Book for CR, Funds Allocation for DD ELS Work is very small (compared to total cost of the project).
sir good progress but now also OHE wiring is pending is it possible the pune - daund section will be electrified before december 2015.
what about doubling of daund - solapur - gulbarga section of CR any new tenders come out for work ?

As per my discussions with ETS Staff at Pune, it is understood that electrification (i.e. making 25 KV AC Traction 'live') will happen in phases over next 6 to 9 months. The start will happen from Puntamba (as PB-Manmad is already live AC). The work will come towards Daund and finally, in a single go, Pune-DD will be made live AC Traction! This can be accomplished easily in next 6 months. However, there are 2 major hurdles for the same, viz., land acquisition (small patch) required for TSS (near Yavat or Kedgaon) and NOC (or related legal formalities, etc).
