I booked a ticket in the Pearl city express (12693) from Tambaram to Madurai instead of Tirumangalam, which is one station ahead in hurry on 06/11/15 in sleeper class. (Deepavali hurry). Now what i have to do for the reminder part. Total number of ticket 3 and a baby.
1. Get down at Madurai and catch a bus to Tirumangalam.
2. Get down at Madurai and buy a unreserved ticket and get in to the UR coach.

If a passenger wants to extent his journey on-board, What is the procedure ?
Ans- Passenger have to inform the TTE before reaching destination printed on ticket and TTE will extend his ticket WITHOUT the benefit of TELESCOPIC fare, subject to minimum chargeable distance, like 200 KM in SL class.

In ur case, its jus another 20 min journey, dat too at odd hours, wd a baby.. its not possible to buy unreserved tickets in 5mins.. neither take a bus at 350 am!
So TT might let u continue if requested...

Just inform the TTE about this and he will extend your ticket. Moreover, There wouldn't be any travellers from Madurai to Tirumangalam to take your berth.
There could not be from Madurai to Tirumangalam but possibility for Madurai-Tuticorin.
I would suggest you to just travel till Tirumangalam informing TTE and pay the fare if requested by TTE.
