On 22 July, 2015 people have spotted DD rake at Chennai Egmore. Saw a post with a photo in Southern Railway Group of Facebook. Mr. Dhinkaran Rajaram had posted the pic there. According to comments on Facebook it looks like SCR has transferred its DD rake to SR to operate MS-MDU Double Decker.

I read in FB that its the spare coaches of SBC DD and had SR markings on the coach.
Yes no announcemnets. Even I wish for the same. But its a surprise to see DD in MS. Even if the train is to run between MS and MDU there will be umpteen number of tests before inauguration.
Is it??? Does SBC DD have 4 AC Chair Cars as spare??? Even if is of SBC DDs wondering why was it at Egmore?
