NOT JUST SNAGS, EVEN A CROW CAN HALT TRAINS
THANE: The Central Railway services were disrupted yet again on Saturday morning, as a crow was electrocuted on the overhead wire at Ambernath. The incident took place at 8.21am, when a train reached the Ambernath station. On realising that a crow was stuck on the overhead wire, the train was brought to a halt. “As the CST-Ambernath train was about to reach Ambernath station, the train stopped with a jolt. We later learned that a crow was stuck. However, such a small incident, too, managed to delay the train by 30 minutes,” said a commuter Shanta Rathod, 54.
