i hav seen Loco pilots getting down at signals and having a pee in the side. The Rlys must incorporate some design changes to allow for toilet facilities. problem is they cant even stop on their own if a loco pilot has sudden loose motion problems. they are susceptible to different difficult weather conditions and its a pity that they are not really given the care they require.
look at the air pilots striking even after getting lacs in salary and asking for more. most of the flying job is done on auto pilot mode and while getting down & going up they have to be vigilant.

to a air pilot, the job of loco pilot is many times more dangerous and less paid, less facilities and loco pilot has got much more responsibility of reaching a destination with more passengers than a Jumbo or A380.
