This is happening on alternate days due to RSA between Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Bijapur/Pandharpur Fast Passengers. For these trains, there is reversal at Daund as well as at Puntamba for half portion of the rake. Half portion comes from Ahmednagar side and remaining half from Kurduwadi side. These are attached / combined and then runs as Shirdi/BJP/PVR-Mumbai Fast Passenger!
