KYN WCAM2P # 21871 going towards PF1 of Pune Station on Sunday, 09-Aug-2015, at morning 07:05 hrs, to take charge of outgoing 12124 Pune-Mumbai DQ (Deccan Queen) Exp! At that time, a goods train (BCNA Rake) headed by BHEL built tiger faced WAP4 shell type BL WAG7 # 24690 came from Lonavala direction went towards GIT Ghorpadi Yard Area. Also, today's 11024 KOP-CSTM Sahyadri Exp was hauled by KYN WCAM2P # 21879 from Pune to Mumbai.

Gone are good old days where DQ was regularly getting KYN WCAM3 Power! Now (for last 3 weeks or so), as per orders received from CSTM, DQ is now to be given KYN WCAM2P Engine only (and WCAM3 only when WCAM2P is not available). This is being done in order to slowly reduce / eliminate all WCAM3 from Exp Train Links from Pune side and put those WCAM3 as MU'ed (Multiple Unit) Pairs for Banking Duties in KJT-LNL (and eventually in KSRA-IGP) Ghat Sections!
