At present, apart from Island express, there are 4 trains -- 6315/6316 for 3 days in a week, 6321/6322 - once a week, 2257/2258 - for 3 days in a week and the newly introduced KCVL-YPR superfast exp - once in a week. The total number of such services per week is 8. Apart from this, for 2 days, we have 2683/2684 ERS-SBC from Ernakulam. Add together, we have 10 trains from Ernakulam to Bangalore. The surprising fact is that there is no train on fridays and on other days, one train follow another within a gap of 2 hours. What a pity.
We request railways to put some thought and realign the timings of all these trains and unify...

Can the timings of KCVL-YPR Garibrath be changed to that of KCVL-SBC express (i.e., by 1600 hours). This will increase popularity as well as convenience.
Garibrath fare should not be a problem (Rs. 531from KCVL-YPR or Rs. 449 for ERN-YPR) as keralites are used to pay Rs. 500 to Rs. 700 for private luxury buses. Railways can earn good image also.
Also, the timings of TVC-SBC weekly express can also be brought to that of KCVL-SBC (6315) and realign the services in such a way that on all 7 days, we have...
