11026 Pune-Bhusaval Exp (via Karjat-Panvel-Kalyan-Igatpuri-Nasik) departing from Pune Station with KYN WCAM3 # 21942 on Monday, 10-Aug-2015, at morning 11:45 hrs! BSL-Pune Exp, Pune-BSL Exp and CSTM-Shirdi/Pandharpur/Bijapur Fast Passenger are the only trains now getting KYN WCAM3 as "fixed" link to/from Pune! DQ and Pragati Exp are now regularly getting KYN WCAM2P Engines (the erstwhile BL WCAM2P which used to haul Mumbai Rajdhani and AK Raj in the good olden days)!
In the long run (may be in next 1 year or so), there are plans to discontinue all WCAM3 links from trains to/from Pune. In next 1 year or so, hopefully, Pune-Daund-Manmad will be under AC Traction. Then, the proposed link plan is: BSL WAM4/WAP4 takes MMR-IGP Shuttle to Igatpuri, then brings it back to MMR as IGP-Manmad Shuttle. The same rake (with WAx loco reversal) will then run as Manmad-Pune Passenger, reaching Pune next day morning, at around 07:30 hrs. The same BSL Power will then haul Pune-BSL Exp (Pune Dep 11:45 hrs). Another BSL Power (or any AC Loco) that will come with BSL-Pune Exp at 12:10 hrs, will haul same day's night Pune-Manmad Passenger! Please Note: This plan is as per discussions with staff and we will have to really wait and watch to see if it really materializes or not!
