2hr improvement is unlikely until the track MPS is increased. This train has enough distance between halts that it can run at MPS for long distances. So any advantage in the acceleration/stopping time is limited only to a few minutes as most ALCO classes can hit the MPS on these tracks. Besides, WDM3D is also a very capable loco designed with many of the features in EMD's and capable of 160kmph runs. Between being hauled by WDM3D and WDP4D, there won't be any substantial difference in the run time for this train.
this is just a myth that adding more powerful loco will reduce the travel time. when the track mps is 110 kmph bring the fastest loco and attach to your train there won't be any difference. Slight observation of difference will be in acceleration time.
If WDM3D are capable of running at 160 kmph then why not allot these to DEE BDTS Garib rath which runs all its journey with TKD WDM3A. Best will be macho VTA WDM3D of sky blue livery best in IR.
2 hour to bahut jayda hai....lekin 15-20 minute ka difference aayega... lekin abhi aisi bahut si sperfast hai jinko pehle emd dega railway kyuki emd dene se unke time me 40-50 minute ka fark ayega because they have more stops...
