Friends, most of you know about the Heritage railways (NG connecting hill station) in India build by British. But we have not created any (dont knw why) . Today these toy trains are excellent tourist attraction earning good revenues and off course serving commuters. I wonder this type of railway route can be constructed for Chikhaldara Hill Station in line with Matheran railway and Darjeeling railway. There can be a 37 km route (mostly hilly) from Achalpur(already a NG terminus, Shakuntala exp) to Chikhaldara. This route is damn beautiful, lush green hue, color full in autumn surrounded by lakes, valleys and waterfalls. This route can be a hit. Please comment.
