Samstipur Diesel at Pune! A rare / surprise visitor! A staff member told me that this SPJ WDG3A # 14747 came with Darbhanga-Pune Exp. However, NTES shows that DBG-Pune Exp of 14-Aug-2015 (reaching Pune on 16-Aug-2015) was cancelled.
In the evening, at 17:30 hrs, this Samastipur WDG-3A # 14747 was not seen anywhere in the station premises. Not sure if this loco hauled some train out of Pune!
It was confirmed by staff that yesterday's 12150 PNBE-Pune SF Exp came with SPJ WDG3A # 14747 and today's 12150 came with orange SPJ WDG3A # 13612 Engine. For photos of 13612, please see /blog/post/1567193
