Blue CNB WAG7 # 28009 taking rest at GIT Ghorpuri Yard near Pune on Friday, 28-Aug-2015, at evening 18:10 hrs! There are very few 28xxx series WAG-7 locos with WAM4 shell! Rest all are in WAP4 shell.

This blue beauty Kanpur WAG-7 # 28009 is still present at GIT Yard as on Saturday, 29-Aug-2015, at morning 07:30 hrs! It is likely to haul BCNA Rake which will trail 09:55 hrs departing Pune-Lonavala EMU!

Finally, at 17:45 hrs, this CNB AC Loco was ready with a goods train. The goods train will mostly trail 19:05 hrs Pune departure PUNE-LNL EMU!

Kalyan-Pune is 25 KV AC Traction long ago! On 02-May-2010, I think, Karjat-Lonavala section was converted to AC. Prior to that, LNL-Pune was already AC Traction. So, from that onward, AC Locos (WAGx) started coming to Pune with goods train. Later, when KYN-Thane became AC, WAPx/WAMx locos also started coming to Pune (to begin with Jaipur-Pune Exp, NZM-Pune Duronto and Indore-Pune Exp)!
