This is regarding quotas for train number 22601 shirdi express. I see about 15 tickets available for Chennai Central (MAS) to Krishnarajapuram (KJM). If these tickets are never booked till chart preparation, do these tickets get allotted for Chennai Central (MAS) - Shirdi (SNSI) queue. And suppose 10 of them are booked, does that mean they will be allotted to RLWL from KJM - SNSI. Can you please clarify?
To be generic, if the quota of tickets between 2 stations do not get booked, do they go to the WL passengers between the source and the destination stations?

I can't help more in this matter. May be someone from railway will be knowing it.
To know about your case, Just check availability between KJM and SNSI. If it is available, you can get it. Else you might not. There are some instance, where people have booked ticket similar to this. For eg, since MAS-SNSI is not available, and MAS-KJM and KJM-SNSI if available, people will book it has 2 separate ticket and may be sue to some luck, they might get same seat itself
