Very disappointed about the GM's attitude if the report is correct
A delegation should be approached to change the general manager of SWR as he has not done any development works to the zone. He has not introduced any new trains announced in the previous budget(Bangalore-Mangalore train) even after High court verdict. He has not cleared festival rush by introducing special trains on local festival occasions inside the state. Rather he has introduced special trains to Kerala for Onam festival. Almost all trains announced during recent budgets, which starts from Bangalore, are going out of state by running just 20 to 40 Kms inside Karnataka and rest outside the state. Hassan-Bangalore line is taking too long to get completed. Bangalore-Mysore doubling is also in this list of delay. Kottur-Harihara line is of no use. Kottur-Hosapete line is of no use for passenger route. Munirabad-Mahboobnagar, Gadag-Wadi, Kudachi-Bagalkot, Rayadurga-Tumkur, Bangalore Sub-Urban rail network works are going on in a snail pace.
