The 1600 HP Demu have been developed by INtegral Coach Factory, Chennai . These DEMU using IGBT technology is more advanced compared to older DEMU . Biggest advantage is that Each rake of these DEMU contains 10 coaches against 8 coaches in the existing DEMU. DEMU running in Jodhpur division are running with huge rush hence 2 additional coaches will really help passengers. I request you to allot 1600HP DEMU to Jodhpur division

Details : For augmentation of existing DEMU service from eight to twelve coaches including DPC'S is being exercised at zonal level, necessary and appropriate steps will be taken and will apprised to Railway Board.
