I understand your anger over the faulty news reporting style.
But we should also keep in mind that this is not a national newspaper's national news section. It is a local edition's local news section and this news is served to localites of Dhanbad. So it is put from their point of view. A resident of Dhanbad doesn't give an F from where the train has originated, if that train serves his city. Accordingly, the local newspapers also modify the news and present it in a form which suits the readers' aspirations. For a Dhanbadi, it is Dhanbad-Indore train, not SDAH-Indore train. We as a railfan scratch our heads over origination station / passing station / this station / that station...
