Some trains originating from this station do not have pantry cars. Passengers now have the option of availing packed food from COMESUM. Both veg and non-veg food are available.

Mr Admin thanks for informing. By the way, I used NZM after more than a decade. At that time there was nothing much available to eat at NZM. COMESUM was not even heard of then. So this post was made to help fellow travellers like me.
Further, I would request admins to maintain a station wise list / FAQ of all the amenities available at all stations in India so that newcomers like me may look into this list first to avoid double entry before posting anything and thus save our time. BTW, I have not cared to check whether such a list already exists. If it does, its good.

This post says that passengers themselves have to go to Comesum for getting food but it never mentions that the people from COMESUM enter train bogies to sell packed food to passengers at their seats. Difference !!
