Once again, SCR proves they are not giving justice to Nanded Division by releasing two back to back press release. Today, around 12:30 pm, on SCR website, an notification came to run weekly 2 specials to Pune. One via Latur (07621/07622) and One via Manmad (02729/02730) till Dec. 2015. Immediately, after two hours they announced that they are cancelling those specials. The reason due to which I hurt was they told due to poor pantorage they are going to cancel those specials. I wonder how can they expect good pantorage after 2 hours of press-release. Most of the people don't know that SCR is running special any. It's purely injustice with Nanded people. If SCR has taken decision to cancel specials on the basis of past data, then why did they announce specials in the morning?

Personally I feel SCR is paying good attention to Nanded division:
1. Cleanilness is maintained at all the stations from Secunderabad up till Manmad Jn on SCR line. Even remotest stations are being maintained well.
2. Infrastructure development work is going on at good pace at Parbhani Jn, Selu, Aurangabad, Daulatabad, Nagarsol which come undr SCR territory.

Secunderabad- Mudkhed-Parbhani-Manmad, Parbhani-Parali under SCR division.
4. SCR is providing double diesel engines to important trains running on SCR territory like - Devagiri exp, Ajantha exp, Hyderabad - Ajmer superfast exp, Hyderabad-Ajmer exp, Sachkhand exp, SNSI-Kakinada exp so that the speed of these trains is increased.
5. Capacity augmentation of trains running in Nanded division - Nanded- Mumbai Tapovan exp with Chair car, Nanded- Amritsar Sachkhand exp with one SL, Secunderabad-Mumbai devagiri exp with one SL, Hyderabad-Parbhani Passenger with one SL.
6. Speeding up of Aurangabad-Renigunta express, Nanded-Pune express via Latur, extension of Dadar-Aurangabad Janshatabdi exp tilll Jalna (for this SCR spent adequate funds for developing infrastructure facilities at Jalna station.
7. Provision of lobby for staff change at Aurangabad station.
8. Introduction of ATVM machines at Parbhani, Aurangabad, Nanded stations.
9. Introduction of escalators at Nanded and Aurangabad stations.
10. Passenger friendly ammenities are being introduced at A, B stations as well which are under Nanded division of SCR.
11. All unmanned level crossings have been eliminated on Secunderabad to Aurangabad route. Which is a very good initiative by SCR.
If you see Miraj Jn which is under CR, being a most important JN on CR, it does not have coach indicators. But a station like Selu and Partur (SCR) which are not as busy as Miraj also have coach indicators.
I agree that there is an issue in introducing trains like Nagpur- Solapur, Nanded-Mumbai, Nanded-Pune, but it is CR who is not cooperating with SCR by not providing morning slots for trains for Nanded division of SCR.
I personally feel SCR can give more justice to Nanded division as compared to CR. CR cannot fulfill demands of Solapur, Bhusaval, Nagpur division as it already has lot of load, so Nanded should remain in SCR only few more trains should be introduced on this route which is possible after Secunderabad- Mudhkhed- Manmad doubling and electrification.
SCR should take this work on priority.
