22149 Ernakulam-Pune SF Exp (via Panvel-Karjat) arrived on PF2 of Pune Station at morning 10:30 hrs (25 min before time!) on Saturday, 03-Oct-2015, with ED WDM3D # 11107 Engine! The train had first coach as green military coach!
Yogesh any idea about this train's halt at LNL? When I traveled few weeks back from PUNE to UD , it had halt at LNL (there was announcement made at LNL about its departure- and many pax boarded/de-boarded @ LNL) but officially no halt @ LNL.
LNL is not commercial halt for this train! However, it is technical halt. While coming to Lonavala (climbing the Ghats), at LNL, bankers are detached. While going to Karjat/Panvel (going down the ghats), LNL is Brake Testing Halt!
All the trains halting at Lonavala for technical purposes have announcements made during their arrival at Lonavala. Experienced while travelling in Jaipur Yeshwanthpur Premium. This is something strange!
