True, this is such a long journey train and I don't see any reason why this train shoudn't have Pantry facility.
A policy decision was taken sometime back to remove all pantry cars, and instead provide Pantry services on all trains in a phased manner. The pantry services of these trains contain hot cases, and facilities for making tea/coffee, and serving snacks, biscuits, water bottles etc.
Food and other eatables are picked up various points such as CBE, ED, KRR, TPJ, depending upon the timings .. you can make that out by looking at the time table. And you can observe it also.
