have traveled thrice by this train,and in all occasions train has undergone reversals at Daund and Manmad.
seen the forum history in detail..the MMR reversal is not a regular thing...as I understood by all the conversation. It has happened sometimes to save on loco change time...but its like a 50-50 situation...sometimes straight into MMR from DD and sometimes via the Ankai bypass...and anyways once PUNE-DD-MMR electrification is commissioned, all this would be immaterial..
have travelled on dep days i.e Mon and Sat, reversals happens on these days.

and DD there is no bypass line by which the train skip DD.
the train go to DD, loco reverce n move towards MMR see the image..
