Getting from Matheran to CST for about midday on 20th January.
Want to try and do this the most comfortable way as possible. Any tips/advice please?
I read the first Toy train is about 7.20am and a bookable sleeper train Sahyadri Express (11024 leaving Neral at 10am. Even though it says Sleeper can i still book seats on it?

is taxi from Matheran to Karjat to get either Sinhagad Express (11010) leaving at 8am or the Pragati Express (12126) leaving at 9.20am. Both those trains have 1AC seats too which i can book.
Any thoughts? I've no idea if there are taxis from Matheran to Karjat and how long it would take and what the cost would be either.
Any advice appreciated.
