Been LHB, & short Rake, even WDGxx or even WDM2 Loco could be able to generate required level of acceleration!!
It is a 16 coached LHB AC rake........how can a single WDM2 get the acceleration???
In LHB, there isnt any loss in acceleration for AC Coach Dynamo Friction (In LHB, Dynamo is attached with Wheel Axle!!
16 Coach LHB Rake, eventually is much lesser in capacity of same load ICF Rake (LHB been low in weight)!!
WDM2 defined @ 120 KMPH which is MPS as of now for ADI-DLI Section!!

Still the acceleration that a WDG-3A would get out of the rake will be higher than aWDM-2....don't you think?

I didnt compared WDG3A VS WDM2...but displayed required acceleration as per Rake/MPS/Congestion, which could even b furnished by WDM2..forget WDG3A!!
