Today Got a call from the DRM, Western Railway, Ahmedabad Division.
He Politely talked with me for over 20 minutes, here are some of the points he conveyed to me, regarding my grievance.
1. 19419/20 Ahmedabad Chennai Express will be augmented with a Pantry car within 2-3 months, as tenders for its catering are floated and as soon as it finalises, pantry car will be attached to the train.

On-Board House Keeping Services will be introduced for this train.
3. The train is running with old coaches due to operational exigencies. However, the issue of cleanliness has drawn a Major attention and the Contractor is penalised for it.
Earlier I had lodged a grievance to Western Railways regarding train 19419/20 Ahmedabad Chennai Express, and had raised issues of its cleanliness, old coaches and catering services, pgportal reg. no MORLY/E/2015/09421
