Earlier there was debate on which is oldest railway zone.
ER fans were saying that ER is oldest..

Exact dates always will have some error because at that time railway construction was going on in lot of places and very fastly line were being built... These days with all modern technology and huge money we build only 500-1000 km new line every yeear and 1 project takes 20-25 years whereas british were able to build many thousands route km in 1 year and commissioning was also very fastly....
