Observations made at Howrah Yesterday:
1 12277 came with Offlink BRC WAP-4 at PF-23 of HWH(Previously we have already seen VSKP WAP-4s with 12278 but BRC has seen with it for the First Time on yesterday)
2 12278 got regular link SRC WAP-4
3 Most of the "Recently PoHd HWH WAP-4 seen with many Trains of SER like HWH Cape Exp, Kandari Exp etc...

True, that. The initial pick-up will be very good. But at the same time, its acceleration will degrade faster with increasing speed when compared to the passenger locos.
But yeah, freight locos can be all-rounders - they can haul freights as well as 24-coach passenger rakes.

I am fortunate to see some Videos of 12314 hauled by WAG-9 in You Tube. The WAG-9 was Looking Dangerous in those Videos.
