specials gettinng WAG's isn't new, thts a regular throught country.
As for MPS, its slighttly lower (like 100 rather than 110 ) in many places, but whats lost in MPS is gained in TE, as WAG's generate tremendous amounts of TE which are required for hauling their primary consist i.e. Freight trains. The incredible TE, coupled with low load of passenger train (around 1000 tonnes compared 4500 of a BOXN rake) gives them tremendous acceleration while moving their train out, therby getting faster clearing times and helping train accelerate more quickly.
