When Premium & Hol. spl. AC Exp. in normal rate is fail forget the Shatabdhi & Rajdhani. It will not succeed. Konkan Common man want a fast traveling in cheaper rate. And this a a max. sin-gal line.
If its that case reaching CSTM is much more problem for Western suburbs people,by road also Dadar is nearer than CSTM.
i also want GOA should get rajdhani shatabdi trains. konkan route is single and congested route so many passenger and freights trains daily running UP and DOWN direction in this single route. all trains have to stopped many times between two stations on loop line for passing another trains bcoz of single route it is very difficult to move freight traffic as well as passengers on a single track. doubling and electrification will allow KR to run more trains services run in this route with good speed connectivity from all over india and generate more revenues for KR. electrification of KR will save lots of money for fuel diesel and save environment from pollution.
Yes you are right. We all waiting for doubling & electrification work start on KR. after that it is possible for Shatabdi Rajdhani even Duranto etc....
