Bringing you an interesting fact about NIR MFR NG section. IT IS ONLY SECTION OF INDIA where GUARD does a duty of GATEMAN too. In this section you will find many points where SH-11 and Railway lines intersect. On points of crossing with highway the train stops before crossing, guard closes the gate after crossing train again stops to allow gaud to board. Guard opens gate and board again. this is repeated again on next crossing.
Will come again with something more.

Its not the guard. A gate man travels with the train and he does the job closing and opening at level crossing and its not the only section in India. Such arrangement exists at many places even in BG.
