Although you should do prior reservations in this train for travelling or else should look for other train, but still if you are in a group of guys or may be last moment traveller (like me) and have to take general coach for travelling to madgaon, then don't wait at CSTM for the train. Go to TNA by 20:30hrs and board 10104 mandovi express general coach. Because the same rake of 10104 which reaches CSTM becomes 10111 konkan kanya. If boarded at TNA, the you will have ample amount of time and choice for a better seat. If in group take the upper berth and if alone or two persons, then take the aisle side seat. 10104 gets empty by TNA and at DR many people of same kind (konkan kanya general boarding) people board it.

I have never got neither in konkan kanya nor in Mjn sf.
Only train which i get seat is mandovi or goa sampark kranti.

Yes I got frm tna to KKW. From last 3 years me 12133 se jata hu. Wo bhi PQ me tkt nikalke.

But not these days.. RPF officials made the coach empty at CSMT. The queue that is formed at CSMT is allowed to board. Maybe in near future they will stop doing this. But still can't be sure. Let atheist this Ganpati season pass. Maybe after this they stop all this at CSMT.
Tip is no longer useful as rpf completely empty the ur coaches at csmt and q system is followed to board ur coach
