I will be traveling from SEC to KOAA.And i am planning to do a tatkal.
The problem is i cant take the risk of missing the train on 7th of nov.I have to board at any cost and the next day i have connecting train to NJP which is confirmed ticket.

No no you can buy ticket from anywhere in India, thats not the issue. But You have to carry original PRS copy without that you are not a valid traveller. You will be considered as ticket less traveller.
for tatkal ticket no duplicate ticket will be issued. Scanned mailed copies will not be accepted. Tatkal ticket you have no option but to get the original PRS ticket else you will be considered without ticket your berth will be allotted to RAC passenger
Sir now IR issue duplicate ticket fr tatkal too if the ticket is lost or damaged.
No duplicate Tatkal tickets shall be issued. Duplicate Tatkal tickets shall be issued only in exceptional cases on payment of full fare including Tatkal charges.
