Pls don't add E-Catering in UnReserved trains ,, bcz its impossible to book food without having PNR , as we know in UnReserved train we cant do reservation so we cant get PNR nd cant book anything online ,,thank you
100% endorse your views.
By mistakenly IRCTC has included these trains too in their list but as we come to the last booking page it ask PNR and this proves that updating E CATERING in unreserved are of no use

I guess, regarding the unreserved train, whatever you have said, sounds absolutely ok. In that case, it's my time to apologize to you, Sir. I guess, I should have thought a little bit before giving my opinion at that point of time. :) :)
At the first sight when I saw the word unreserved and e catering together i marked void but later when i founded the same mentioned on IRCTC too some how i thought it was a mistake and suddenly reverted your update from my side but recently i tried just to check that e catering is working for this train or not then the same thing got highlighted which i thought before marking a void...
Now lets move on..let the moderator sir decide what he wants to get updated IRCTC CARBON COPY updates or those updates which really exists PRACTICALLY from which our passenger can enhance their travelling experience

We need to go forward with whatever is logical. For now, since passengers cannot order food on unreserved tickets, UnReserved trains will need to display "No E-Catering". A similar validation check will made on our systems as well.
Thanks.
Thanks.
