Yesterday I travelled in this train from Bharuch to Borivali. I was holding an e-ticket but the TTE never came to check the tickets. Although I would not be doing such a thing, is it not possible for me to file a TDR citing "Passenger not travelled " and get 50% of fare as refund. The system can be easily misused when tickets are not being checked by the TTE. It is a regular feature on this and some other trains where tickets are never checked by the TTE. Whats the opinion of others on this?

but i feel there wont be any use...
because last time I filed a TDR for one train in which I couldnt travel.
then after 3months I got a reply that reason not supported. I dint understand how can we prove that. so TDR helps mainly for train running more than 3 hrs i think
