General Waiting status was: WL 18. with fare 120.
I thought that it will get confirmed so didn't check in tatkal. So I asked counter person (b Kumar ) it will get confirmed right? He got blank and started thinking for 10 sec, I got shocked. Then he asked for ₹ 10 extra and said to write Tatkal on the form.
Firstly I thought Is he asking for commission ? But I asked Tatkal fare is only ₹10 ? & How ?
He replied ₹10 only is the Tatkal fare as class is 2S.

Available 18 was status in Tatkal quota when I booked at afternoon.
