NEW DELHI: No new trains would be announced in the coming railway budget of 2016-17 as the transporter has decided to do away with the practice adopted by its political masters in the past to appease various constituencies.

Not entirely accurate. He couldn't possibly have said the following statement in last year's speech -
"The minister said 103 budget announcements have been totally implemented with steps taken to ensure punctuality of trains, cleanliness and providing quality food"
.
While I completely share your concern about safety and facilities, merely being concerned does not help one bit. He can keep yelling at all...
