The train, which was earlier a DURONTO, charges RAJDHANI type fare. It means that food cost is included in the fare itself. It follows the Trivandrum- Kollam- Alappuzha- Ernakulam- Erode- Jolarpettai- Chennai Central route. Gives the Ernakulam- Chennai non- stop run with the two technical halts enroute.
The loco has now been transferred to AJJ.
