This station is very famous for chain pulling...each time I traveled in 12141-42, it had to stop at Manikpur due to chain pulling....
BTW when Manikpur and ALD section was single line, it was famous for samosa n litti chokha...

yeh Section Single line bhi tha kya ? aur jaha jab se mein travel kar raha hu tab se yeh Double hi hai ( jaha tak mujhe yaad hai )
Ha sir, un dino Manikpur almost sari trains rukti this crossing k liye.. Kuch 12- 15 saal ya usse b purani bàat hai:-)
15 saal se puarani hi hogi kyu ke 1998 mein to double line section tha mujhe yaad hai ki uss time dono side se train ki movment ho rahi thi after satna
Possibly.. Mujhe yaad hai ki train 2 se 2.30 hours leti thi us time frm Manikpur to naini or cheoki.. Bachpan ki yaadon me se ek hai
