Sir this train is one of the slowest expresses in IR period.....giving it a P-7 wouldn't make much a difference to the TT!
And this is the only link to Gorakhpur from 3 of Jharkhand's forerunner cities!
This train should be speeded up seriously.....the unnecessary halts in north Bihar can be done away with....North Bihar has plenty of trains for Gorakhpur!

bypass rail-line is built hopefully we can see some improvements in the average speed....furthermore the train has unnecessarily long halts at Ranchi and Dhanbad....
Dhanbad is no longer a locomotive changeover point for Maurya.........so why does it still have such an unnecessarily long halt at Dhanbad !

Now that this train will have an E-loco throughout it's full journey.....the extra time halts at Barauni and Dhanbad should be done away with....
